Sculptra

Sculptra®

Sculptra is a dermal filler that has been around since 1999. It gained FDA approval in 2004 to treat lipoatrophy (loss of fat, especially from the face, arms, and legs). In 2014, it gained FDA approval for treating wrinkles and folds on the face.

Sculptra is made with Poly- L-Lactic Acid, which is a synthetic polymer that’s been used in medical sutures for over 50 years. It helps reduce deep lines and wrinkles on your face and is particularly good at reducing smile lines and chin wrinkles. It’s a little different from other fillers out there–it requires a series of treatments (usually 3) and works to stimulate collagen production over time.

Sculptra provides results over time, which allows the youthful results to last longer. Sculptra results can last up to 2 years.

Indicated For:

You may be a good candidate for Sculptra if you would like a non-surgical solution for unwanted lines and wrinkles. It is one of the longest-lasting injectables on the market. There’s no need for allergy testing and it is safe and effective for nearly all skin types, tones, and textures.
