Vascular and Pigmented Lesions

For those that have skin discoloration or noticeable veins, the Quanta Evo Light™ 4V offers effective treatment. Using intense pulsed light (IPL), the problem vessels are targeted and ‘damaged’ in an effort to correct the damage. In the months following, the spots then fade as new skin replaces the damaged skin and the body naturally disposes of the visible veins.

Vascular Lesions

Vascular lesions, such as cherry angiomas, hemangioma, telangiectasis, spider veins, etc. Form as a result of increased venous pressure and one of the most effective ways to treat them is with the EVO Light Series. The laser’s wavelengths penetrate deep into the skin and target blood vessels, leading to heating, micro-clotting, and for the purpose of the eventual collapse of the vessel wall. In fact, most individuals see their vascular lesions disappear after their first treatment.

Pigmented Lesions

Pigmented Lesions can appear with skin aging. Especially on body areas with the most sun exposure. Other kinds of pigmented lesions can have different origins. These lesions can be present since birth, after a skin injury, or after pregnancy. Our laser technology is capable of emitting extremely short pulses that can selectively interact with undesired melanin concentrations of the skin spots removing them quickly and effectively.

How Does it Work?

At Niché MedSpa we use the EVO laser, which is a multiple length laser with Alexandrite (“Alex”) and Nd: YAG (“Yag”) lasers offering multiple wavelengths depending on the treatment. We also use a Zimmer machine which blows cold air making the procedure as painless as possible.
